Ashdale Village Residents’ Association
The Ashdale Village Residents’ Association (AVRA) is a community-minded group representing the concerns of neighbours living in Little India, in Toronto’s east end, loosely bordered by Coxwell and Greenwood, Gerrard St. East and the railway tracks to the north. The neighbourhood is home to Roden Public and Equinox Holistic Alternative schools. The current residents’ association was formed a little over 2 years ago to promote community-building activities and increase neighbourhood safety.
The AVRA Annual General Meeting was held July 27, 2011 at the Riverdale Hub. Community members are welcome to join the group at any time. Please join the AVRA Google group to receive notices of activities and join discussions or email: info@ashdalevillage.com.
